AS FROM 1ST JANUARY 2024 - any patient requesting any of our Non NHS Services will be required to pay in advance of the work being completed. Once payment has been received, please allow 5 working days for completion by the GP.
Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Fitness to Fly letter
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
Forms for Signature
We respectfully ask patients requiring this service to leave full instructions as to the completion of the form and whether they will be collecting it or prefer for it to be posted on completion. The doctors provide this service privately and there will be a fee charged for each service provided. We cannot guarantee a time for form completion, as this has to be fitted in with their usual duties, but we aim to complete within 5 working days from payment. Patients requiring their completed forms posted to the relevant address must ensure that their form is accompanied by a stamped addressed envelope. Forms not having an envelope will be left at reception for the patient to collect.
