NOTICE TO PATIENTS REGARDING CORONAVIRUS

We are aware many patients are anxious about the change in guidance from July 19th, and whether they should be wearing a face mask or not. We would like to commit to our continued efforts to safeguard our staff and patients and will be asking for the continued use of masks in all environments at the Practice, including the waiting room, reception, clinical spaces and administrative spaces. May we thank you in advance for your co-operation over this matter.

The Sound Doctor is a website developed to help you understand your condition better so you can take control, cope well at home and get the most out of life.  Each condition covered on the website consists of about sxity short films featuring key practical advice from some of the country's leading experts.

Conditions available include Diabetes, COPD and Back Pain.  More conditions will be updated shortly so please keep checking to see if there is something else that may be of interest.

The Sound Doctor contains useful tips from patients as well as doctors, consultants, nurses and other healthcare professionals.  There is also a chatroom where you can share stories and pass on advice of your own to other people. The aim is to keep you well and out of hospital, help you cope well at home and give you the confidence to take control and get as much as you can out of life.

How to get started:

1.  email them at info@thesounddoctor.org with the name of your GP and the Practice and the conditions you would like to access.

2.  They will get back to you with a link to click on that should take you to www.thesounddoctor.org login page

3.  Fill in user name and make up a password.

If you don't have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone at home you can go to your local library and use a computer there.
